November 24 (SeeNews) - Consumer prices in Bosnia rose by 4.3% year-on-year in October after increasing by an annual 3% in September, the country's statistical office said on Wednesday.
On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices in Bosnia added 2.0% in October, following an increase of 0.8% in September, the statistical office said in a statement.
Prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 6.7% year-on-year, prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco rose by an annual 1.9%, prices of housing and utilities went up 2.0%, and transport prices surged 13.5% year-on-year in October.
Bosnia's consumer prices decreased by 1% last year, after rising by 0.6% in 2019 and by 1.4% in 2018.
