SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), August 29 (SeeNews) – Bosnian cargo transport company Centrotrans Tranzit [SAJ:CTRTR] said on Thursday its net loss expanded to 215,900 marka ($122,200/110,400 euro) in the first half of 2019 from 201,457 marka in the prior-year period.
Operating income fell to 621,884 marka in the January-June period from 672,399 marka a year earlier, while operating costs dropped 9.9% to 791,277 marka, Centrotrans Tranzit said in a financial statement filed with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE).
The company's total assets amounted to 9.5 million marka at the end of June, compared to 9.8 million marka at the end of 2018.
Earlier this month, Bosnian metal processing company Index raised its stake in Centrotrans Tranzit to 50.3% following a buyout bid.
