June 1 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's central bank said it expects that the country's economy will grow by 1.6% in 2023, revising upwards its November forecast of 0.9% growth.
In 2024, Bosnia's economic growth is seen accelerating to 3.2%, the central bank said in a statement on Wednesday.
The slower economic activity of the country's main trading partners is expected to affect net exports, while private consumption growth is projected to be moderate due to high inflation, the central bank said.
Average annual inflation is projected at 7.7% in 2023 and 2.6% in the following year.
Bosnia's economy grew by 4.0% in 2022 after expanding by 7.1% the year before.
