May 26 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Bosnia and Herzegovina in April rose 22.7% year-on-year to 330, the statistical office said.
Of the total number of permits issued in April, 229 covered buildings, up 6.5% year-on-year, whereas 101 were issued for civil engineering works, up 87%, the statistical office said in a statement on Tuesday.
Based on the number of issued permits, 1,122 new dwellings were planned for construction, up 17% compared to April 2020.
The number of building permits issued in Bosnia and Herzegovina last year was 6.2% lower compared to 2019.
