SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), September 19 (SeeNews) – The road company of Bosnia’s Brcko District, Putevi Brcko, called a tender for a bypass road project, the European Union's procurement journal said on Friday.
The project includes the construction of a18.7-kilometer road bypassing the town of Brcko, with two-lane single carriageways and 12 bridges, the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) said.
Works should be completed within 30 months.
The project will be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
Bids should be sent by November 17. All tenderers should be accompanied by a tender security of 500,000 euro ($649,000).
Brcko District is located in the Muslim-Croat Federation, one of the two entities that form Bosnia. The other is the Serb Republic.
