December 19 (SeeNews) - Bosnian insurer Bosna Sunce Osiguranje has filed a request to acquire a majority shareholding interest in its local peer Zovko Osiguranje, the national competition authority said.
The possible concentration will have an impact on the non-life insurance market of the country as a whole, the Competition Council said in a statement on Monday.
It called on all interested business entities active in insurance to submit their opinions on the planned concentration.
Bosna Sunce had a 10.56% market share in Bosnia's Federation entity at the end of October and a 7.30% share on the market of the country as a whole. Bosnia's other entity is the Serb Republic.
