August 1 (SeeNews) - Bosnian diversified company Boksit [BANJ:BOKS-R-A] said its net profit plummeted to 324,104 marka ($182,845/165,711 euro) in the first half of 2019, from 2.0 million marka in the like period of last year.
First-half operating income decreased 4.4% to 30.6 million marka, while operating costs were little changed at 30.51 milion marka, compared with 30.57 million marka in 2018, Boksit said in an interim financial statement filed with the Banja Luka Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
Boksit’s core business is bauxite ore excavation. The company is also active in the extraction of other minerals, as well as in construction, transport, food processing and tourism.
