May 18 (SeeNews) - Bosnian retailer Bingo will open a 30,000 sq m shopping centre in the town of Zivinice, a multi-million marka investment, where it will employ some 350 people, the municipal government said.
The shopping centre will house a Bingo hypermarket, various apparel stores, restaurants and a bowling alley, the municipal government of Zivinice said in a statement earlier this week.
Construction works will take place in two phases, the first of which will be completed by the end of this year and includes the construction of the hypermarket and an underground garage. A modern retail park will be built during the second stage.
Tuzla-based Bingo, set up in 1993, employs over 7,000 people in Bosnia. The company increased its footprint on the retail trade and consumer goods market in Bosnia in 2014 when it acquired retail units from its French peer Intermarche, which operated under the Interex brand in the Balkan state.
