SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), April 24 (SeeNews) – Bosnian state-controlled brown coal mine Banovici [SAJ:RMUBR] said on Monday it posted a net profit of 1.2 million marka ($665,600/613,500 euro) in 2016, up from 743,900 marka a year earlier.
Operating revenue increased 6.8% to 150.4 million marka last year, while operating costs edged up 2.8% to 135.6 million marka, Banovici mine said in a filing with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange.
Rudnik Mrkog Uglja Banovici is one of the biggest coal mines in the Muslim-Croat Federation, one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other entity is the Serb Republic.
