November 25 (SeeNews) - The benchmark index of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE) ended the week up, amid higher turnover, bourse data indicated on Friday.
BLSE’s benchmark index, the BIRS, gained 4.58% from last Friday, reaching 820 points this week.
Telekom Srpske [BANJ:TLKM-R-A] generated the largest trading turnover, of 179,159 marka ($95,139/91,603 euro), on the BLSE's official market this week. The company's shares closed at 1.54 marka on Friday, flat compared with the previous day.
BLSE’s total trading turnover reached 53.5 million marka, significantly higher than 1.47 million marka last week.
The BLSE is the stock exchange of the Serb Republic, one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sarajevo stock exchange (SASE) is based in the Federation, the other entity.
SASE did not publish its weekly report as the bourse was closed on Friday due to a public holiday in the Federation.
