The 21.3-kilometre section includes one interchange, two two-sided rest areas, eight bridges and viaducts, two overpasses, 15 underpasses and one 2.2-kilometre-long tunnel, Autoceste FBiH said in a press release.

The expected duration of the project is 30 months.

The services are expected to be financed through funding provided by the European Investment Bank (EIB), as well as a 79 million euro grant from the European Union provided within the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF).
