January 28 (SeeNews) - Bosnian state-owned road company Autoceste FBiH said on Friday it is inviting bids for a contract for a preliminary and main design of a section of the Adriatic–Ionian motorway - an assignment worth an estimated 6 million marka ($3.4 million/3.1 million euro).
The section is planned to connect Stolac to Pocitelj interregional interchange, Autoceste said in a tender notice.
The assignment is expected to be completed within 18 months. Interested parties can submit offers in the tender by March 15.
The Adriatic-Ionian motorway, also known as the Blue Corridor, is expected to stretch along the entire eastern coast of the Adriatic and Ionian seas from Italy to Greece through Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Albania.
