August 3 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina’s ASA Banka [SAJ:IKBZ] said its net profit jumped to 11.2 million marka ($5.8 million/5.7 million euro) in the first half of 2022, from 4 million marka in the same period last year.
Net interest income added 59.6% year-on-year to 8.6 million marka in the first six months of 2022, while net fees and commission income increased by 87.1% to 7.6 million marka, ASA Banka said in a financial statement filed with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange earlier this week.
The lender's total assets came in at 1.3 billion marka at the end of June, up from 1.1 billion marka at the end of 2021.
ASA Banka's shares closed 20% higher at 54.79 marka on Tuesday on the Sarajevo bourse. They did not trade at opening on Wednesday.
