June 25 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's AS Holding opened on Tuesday its first logistics and distribution centre in the country, in the third-largest city of Tuzla, local media reported.
The centre will be run by newly-established company AS Logistics, part of privately-held AS Holding, news wire Biznis.ba reported following the opening event in the north-eastern city.
The centre spreads on an area of 30,382 square metres and comprises two business buildings.
"Our vision is to be a leading supplier of integral logistics services on the domestic market, providing our clients with value added with the help of innovative management systems of logistics processes," the head of AS Logistics, Dragan Bjelica, was quoted as saying at the opening.
"We will achieve this by opening more logistics centres in Sarajevo and Banja Luka, and in the smaller centres in Herzegovina and Krajina, thanks to which we will cover the complete Bosnian market," he added.
AS Holding is one of Bosnia's largest private holding companies, active in three main areas - food, trade and textile.
