March 24 (SeeNews) - Consumer prices in Bosnia rose by 12.9% on the year in February, after an annual increase of 14.1% in January, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
In February, the average prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages surged by 20.8% year-on-year, prices of housing and utilities went up 13.7%, and transport prices rose by 10.9%, the statistical office said in a monthly inflation report.
On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices added 0.4% in February, following an increase of 0.5% in January.
Bosnia closed last year with average annual inflation of 14%, up from 2% in 2021.
