March 9 (SeeNews) - Passengers at Bosnia and Herzegovina's four international airports totalled 2.2 million in 2022, some 81.47% more compared with a year earlier, Bosnia's Civil Aviation Directorate said on Thursday.
The busiest airport in 2022 was the Sarajevo International Airport, which handled 1.4 million passengers, followed by the Tuzla International Airport with 473,927 passengers, the Civil Aviation Directorate said in a statement.
Next came the Banja Luka-based airport with 342,988 passengers and the Mostar airport with 10,732 passengers in 2022.
Total operations at Bosnia's four international airports rose to 24,009 in 2022, up 38.95% compared with the previous year.
