April 29 (SeeNews) - Passengers at Bosnia's four international airports totalled 110,019 in March, up compared with 30,113 in the same month a year earlier, Bosnia's Civil Aviation Directorate said.
The busiest airport in March was the Sarajevo International Airport, which handled 70,292 passengers, followed by the Tuzla International Airport with 22,914 passengers, the Civil Aviation Directorate said in a statement on Thursday.
Next came the Banja Luka-based airport with 16,792 passengers and the Mostar airport with 21 passengers in March.
Total operations at Bosnia's four international airports rose to 1,494 in March 2022 from 806 in March 2021.
Passengers at Bosnia's four international airports totalled 1.2 million in 2021, up by 131.94% compared with 2020.
