March 14 (SeeNews) - Passengers at Bosnia and Herzegovina's four international airports totalled 133,579 in February, more than double compared with 65,186 in the same month a year earlier, Bosnia's Civil Aviation Directorate said.
The busiest airport in February was the Sarajevo International Airport, which handled 56,979 passengers, followed by the Tuzla International Airport with 48,326 passengers, the Civil Aviation Directorate said in a statement on Monday.
Next came the Banja Luka-based airport with 28,244 passengers and the Mostar airport with just 30 passengers in February.
Total operations at Bosnia's four international airports rose to 1,368 in February 2023 from 1,005 in February 2022.
Passengers at Bosnia's four international airports totalled 2.2 million in 2022, some 81.47% more compared with a year earlier.
