March 9 (SeeNews) - Aerodromi Republike Srpske [BANJ:AERD-R-A], the airport operator of Bosnia’s Serb Republic, expects to generate a revenue of 7.77 million marka ($4.2 million/4 million euro) in 2023, up 28.43% year-on-year, it said on Thursday.
The company expects to make a 13,500 marka net profit this year, as total expenses are projected at 7.7 million marka, Aerodromi RS said in its 2023 business plan.
Aerodromi RS hopes to serve 478,411 passengers this year, 39.47% more than last year. The number of flights is expected to increase 38.08% this year, to 5,512.
The business plan will be put to the vote of the company's shareholders on March 24.
The company's shares last traded on the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE) on March 2, closing 16% higher at 0.29 marka.
Aerodromi RS operates the airport in Banja Luka, one of the four international airports in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The others are located in Sarajevo, Tuzla and Mostar.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
