SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), January 26 (SeeNews) – Bosnia's ADV PAX Lutec d.o.o., an export-oriented sheet metal packaging manufacturer, has successfully shipped its first batch of products to an EU buyer, the German retailer ALDI, the local office of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) said.
With 42 new jobs added to the economy, the company will work with renowned European and global buyers such as Nestle, Dr. Oetker, Dallmayr, Lambertz, Lindt, Heilemann Confiserie, Rausch, Bosch and Siemens, UNDP said in a statement earlier this week.
Maglaj-based ADV PAX Lutec d.o.o. was started in 2017 with the assistance of the EU and UNDP in Bosnia. Test production started in August 2017.
The company currently employs 42 staff with plans to further expand over the next two years, creating up to 150 new jobs in the Maglaj area.
"Creation of vibrant business environment is a key for attracting new investments and creating jobs that improve quality of life for people of Bosnia and Herzegovina", Ismar Ceremida, Economic Development Coordinator at UNDP in Bosnia said.
ADV PAX Lutec d.o.o.’s core business is production of innovative packaging from tin plate for various industries such as food, retail, automotive, etc. Along with it’s parent company ADV PAX Lutec GmbH it represents one of the Germany’s leading producers and suppliers of metal tins.
