SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), May 15 (SeeNews) – Bosnian tobacco company Fabrika Duhana Sarajevo [SAJ:FDSSR] said on Tuesday its net profit surged to 65.3 million marka ($39.5 million/33.4 million euro) in 2017, from a slim 935,918 marka a year earlier.
Operating income fell 19.3% year-on-year to 26.7 million marka last year, while operating costs decreased 9.4% to 30.7 million marka, Fabrika Duhana Sarajevo said in a statement.
The company operates in Bosnia’s Federation, one of the two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bosnia has one more tobacco factory, Fabrika Duvana Banja Luka, which operates in the other entity, the Serb Republic.
