SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), March 5 (SeeNews) – Bosnian telecommunications company HT Mostar [SAJ:HTKM] said it plans to establish a new company that will be called Haloo and will be based in Sarajevo.
The plans to establish Haloo d.o.o. Sarajevo will be put to the vote at an extraordinary shareholders meeting scheduled for March 13, HT Mostar said in a statement with the Sarajevo bourse on Wednesday.
It gave no further details concerning its plans.
HT Mostar is the smallest of three telecommunications companies operating in Bosnia, which comprises two autonomous entities, the Federation and the Serb Republic.
The government of Bosnia's Federation entity owns 50.1% of HT Mostar, Croatian telecommunications operator Hrvatski Telekom (HT) holds a 39.1% stake and Croatian postal operator Hrvatske Poste owns 5.23%. The remainder belongs to smaller shareholders, according to February 28 data on the Sarajevo bourse.
HT Mostar is based in the southern city of Mostar and its customers are mostly from the Federation.
The other two Bosnian telecoms are BH Telecom, which is based in Sarajevo and active in the Federation, and Telekom Srpske which operates in the Serb Republic and is based in Banja Luka.
HT Mostar shares last traded on the Sarajevo bourse on December 13, closing down 0.01% to 5 marka ($2.9/2.6 euro).
