February 28 (SeeNews) - Bosnian telecommunications company HT Mostar [SAJ:HTKM] increased its 2021 net profit to 213,000 marka ($121,900/108,900 euro), compared with 48,583 marka made the previous year, it said.
The company's operating revenue added 4.4% to 191.5 million marka in 2021, while operating costs edged up 1.6% to 190.5 million marka, Hrvatske Telekomunikacije Mostar (HT Mostar) said in a filing with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange last week.
The company reported an operating profit of 939,433 marka in 2021, after making an operating loss of 4.2 million marka in 2020.
HT Mostar is the smallest of three telecommunications companies operating in Bosnia, which is made up of two autonomous entities - the Federation and the Serb Republic.
The government of Bosnia's Federation entity owns 50.1% of HT Mostar, Croatian telecommunications operator Hrvatski Telekom (HT) holds a 39.1% stake and Croatian postal operator Hrvatske Poste owns 5.23%. The remainder belongs to smaller shareholders, bourse data showed on February 25.
HT Mostar is based in the southern city of Mostar and has its customers mainly in the Federation.
The other two Bosnian telecoms are BH Telecom, which is active in the Federation, and Telekom Srpske which operates in the Serb Republic.
