SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), July 20 (SeeNews) – The indices of Bosnia's two bourses, the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE) and the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE), ended the week mostly up amid mixed turnover, bourse data indicated on Friday.
SASE's 10-share benchmark SASX-10 index increased 1.69% from last Friday to 638.54 points this week.
The broader SASX-30 index, which comprises the 30 most liquid stocks on the SASE, closed at 1,079.82 points, down 0.001% compared to last Friday.
The SASE index, tracking investment funds, the BIFX, rose 0.03% from last week to 704.17 points.
The Islamic stock index SASX-BBI, launched by SASE and Bosna Bank International (BBI), increased 0.42% to 10,470.12 points. The index tracks 25 companies.
SASE's total trading turnover came in at 1 million marka ($598,981/511,292 euro), compared to 3.4 million marka last week.
Bosnian state-controlled BH Telecom [SAJ:BHTS] was the most traded stock on SASE's official market. The stock generated a trading turnover of 352,522.64 marka this week.
SASE is based in the Federation, one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The BLSE is based in the other entity, the Serb Republic.
BLSE’s benchmark index, the BIRS, won 2.84% from last Friday, reaching 517.72 points this week.
Telekom Srpske [BANJ:TLKM-R-A] generated the biggest trading turnover of 81,926.74 marka on BLSE's official market this week.
BLSE’s total trading turnover reached 119.5 million marka this week, up from 543,867.26 marka last week.
