SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), June 23 (SeeNews) – The indices of Bosnia's two bourses, the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE) and the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE), ended the week mostly down, amid mixed turnover, bourse data indicated on Friday.
SASE's 10-share benchmark SASX-10 index decreased 2.87% from last Friday to 599.24 points.
The broader SASX-30 index, which comprises the 30 most liquid stocks on the SASE, closed at 974.44 points, down 0.41% compared to last Friday.
The SASE index tracking investment funds, the BIFX, fell 0.22% to 920.84 points.
The Islamic stock index, launched by SASE and Bosna Bank International (BBI), gained 0.46% to 10,004.83 points. The index tracks 25 companies.
SASE's total trading turnover came in at 1.2 million marka ($687,100/613,600 euro), compared to 30.3 million marka last week.
Brewer Sarajevska Pivara [SAJ:SRPV] was the most traded stock on SASE's official market. The stock generated a trading turnover of 524,888.40 this week.
SASE is based in the Federation, one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The BLSE is based in the other entity, the Serb Republic.
BLSE’s benchmark index, the BIRS, fell 1.09% from last Friday, reaching 580.23 points this week.
The bourse's investment fund index, the FIRS, edged up 0.16% from last week's level, closing at 1,761.37 points on June 23.
Bosnia’s Telekom Srpske [BANJ:TLKM-R-A] generated the biggest trading turnover of 77,904.26 marka on BLSE's official market this week.
BLSE’s total trading turnover jumped to 26 million marka this week from 718,777.96 marka last week.
