May 28 (SeeNews) - Bosnian retailer Bingo will open a shopping centre in the town of Maglaj by the end of the year, the municipal government said.
Bingo last week purchased a land plot in the Maglaj municipality and will now proceed with acquiring the necessary permits for construction, the Maglaj municipal government said in a statement on Friday.
The construction of the shopping centre is planned to begin at the end of June or early July, while works are projected to take up to five months.
Tuzla-based Bingo, set up in 1993, employs over 7,000 people in Bosnia. The company increased its footprint on the retail trade and consumer goods market in Bosnia in 2014 when it acquired retail units from its French peer Intermarche, which operated under the Interex brand in the Balkan state.
