March 11 (SeeNews) - Zeljeznice RS [BANJ:ZERS], the railway operator of Bosnia’s Serb Republic, closed 2021 with a net loss of 17.8 million marka ($10 million/9.1 million euro), compared with a loss of 18.7 million marka the year before.
Operating revenue dropped 5.9% year-on-year to 60.3 million marka in 2021, while operating costs increased by 7.3% to 80.7 million marka, the company said in a filing to the Banja Luka Stock Exchange last week.
The company's shares closed flat at 31 marka on the BLSE on Thursday. They did not trade by 1030 am CET on Friday.
The Serb Republic is one of the two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other entity is the Federation.
