March 6 (SeeNews) - The railway operator of Bosnia's Federation entity, Zeljeznice FBiH, plans to increase its total revenue by 32.6% year-on-year in 2020, the Federation government said on Friday.
Zeljeznice FBiH's total costs are projected to rise by 22.9% this year, the Federation government said in a press release, after it adopted the 2020 business plan of the company.
In 2020, Zeljeznice FBiH plans to carry 9,120,000 tonnes of cargo - 5,560,000 tonnes at home and 3,560,000 tonnes abroad, as well as 504,000 passengers.
Last month, the railway operator said its EBITDA rose to record-high 22.7 million marka ($12.8 million/11.6 million euro) in 2019, from 19 million marka in the previous year.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other entity is the Serb Republic.
