November 4 (SeeNews) - Bosnian power distribution company Elektrokrajina [BANJ:EKBL-R-A] said on Monday it turned to a net loss of 3.6 million marka ($2.0 million/1.8 million euro) in the first nine months of 2019 from a 231,846 marka profit in the like period of last year.
Operating income rose 1.1% on the year in January-September of 2019, to 166 million marka, while operating costs increased 4.4% to 172.9 million marka, Elektrokrajina said in a filing with the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE).
Elektrokrajina is a unit of Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske, the power utility company of Bosnia's Serb Republic entity.
The company's shares traded at 0.13 marka by 1445 CET on Monday on BLSE, up 4.03% from Friday's close.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
