SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), November 18 (SeeNews) – Bosnian insurance company Krajina Osiguranje [BANJ:KROS-R-A] said its net loss expanded to 1.2 million marka ($678,389/613,550 euro) in the first nine months of 2019, from a 262,348 marka loss a year earlier.
Operating income for January-September decreased 7.8% to 3.0 million marka, while operating costs edged up 0.9% to 4л0 million marka, the insurer said in a filing to the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE) on Friday.
The company's assets totalled 15.5 million marka in September, compared to 16.3 million marka at the end of 2018.
The insurer's shares last traded on the BLSE on May 24, 2017, when they closed unchanged at 1 marka.
Krajina Osiguranje is based in Banja Luka, in the Serb Republic, one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
