October 31 (SeeNews) - Bosnian hydro power producer Hidroelektrane na Vrbasu [BANJ:HELV-R-A] said on Thursday its net profit soared to 5.1 million marka ($2.9 million/2.6 million euro) in the first nine months of 2019, from 959,492 marka a year earlier.
Operating income increased by 39.4% year-on-year to 17.5 million marka in January-September, while operating costs rose only slightly to 11.7 million marka from 11.1 million marka in the comparable period of 2018, Hidroelektrane na Vrbasu (HEV) said in a filing with the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE).
HEV is part of power utility Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske.
Hidroelektrane na Vrbasu shares last traded on BLSE on October 17 at 0.38 marka, unchanged.
