SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), November 13 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by an annual 2.3% in the first half of 2019, the state-level government said.
The Council of Ministers released the data after adopting information on Bosnia's macroeconomic developments in January-June, it said in a statement on Tuesday.
The most recent flash estimate from the Bosnian Agency for Statistics shows that GDP growth slowed to a real 2.6% in the second quarter of 2019, from a revised 2.8% in the preceding quarter.
Bosnia's economy grew by 3.6% in the full year 2018, the statistical office said earlier.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) affirmed earlier this month its previous forecast for Bosnia's 2019 GDP growth forecast at 3.0%.
In October, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) cut its forecast for Bosnia's 2019 economic growth to 2.8% from 3.1% predicted in April.
