SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), June 29 (SeeNews) – Bosnian drug maker Bosnalijek said on Wednesday its shareholders approved a dividend of 0.3 marka ($0.17/0.15 euro) per share for 2015, flat from a year earlier.
The drug maker will distribute as dividend a total of 2.6 million marka from last year's earnings, it said in a filing with the Sarajevo bourse.
Bosnalijek added it will invest the remainder of its profit, or a total of 8.6 million marka, in the improvement and development of the company.
In March, the government of Bosnia's Muslim-Croat Federation said it will sell its 19.25% stake in Bosnalijek via the Sarajevo Stock Exchange.
Bosnalijek's net profit increased to 11.2 million marka in 2015 from 10.1 million marka a year earlier. The company markets its product in 13 countries and employs over 700 in Bosnia.
The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
