September 26 (SeeNews) - Bosnian pharmaceuticals producer Bosnalijek [SAJ:BSNL] said on Monday that it will distribute a dividend of 1 marka ($0.49/0.51 euro) per share for 2021, higher than the dividend of 0.59 marka paid out for the previous year.
The company's shareholders approved the dividend payout at their September 19 meeting, Bosnalijek said in a bourse filing.
Bosnalijek will distribute as dividend 9 million marka out of its 12.18 million marka net profit reported for 2021. The remainder will go towards support for the further development of its operations.
The drug maker booked a net profit of 8.9 million marka in 2020.
Bosnalijek's shares last traded on the Sarajevo bourse on September 22, when they closed 0.03% higher at 32.60 marka.
