August 6 (SeeNews) - Bosnian brewer Pivara Tuzla [SAJ:PITZ] said its net profit rose by 20% year-on-year in the first half of 2021, reaching 1.4 million marka ($845,000/715,800 euro).
Operating income shrank 4.6% on the year to 11.9 million marka in January-June, while operating costs dropped 5.5% to 9.6 million marka, Pivara Tuzla said in a Sarajevo bourse filing earlier this week.
The company's shares last traded on the Sarajevo Stock Exchange on August 2, when they closed 25% higher at 10 marka.
Bosnia's largest retailer Bingo controls an 89.6% stake in Pivara Tuzla, August 6 bourse data showed.
