May 13 (SeeNews) - Bosnian brewer Pivara Tuzla [SAJ:PITZ] said on Wednesday its net profit rose to 4.6 million marka ($2.55 million/2.35 million euro) in 2019, from 4.2 million marka a year earlier.
The company's operating income went up 1.7% to some 31 million marka in January-December, while its operating costs rose 4.2% to 22 million marka, Pivara Tuzla said in a Sarajevo bourse filing.
The company's shares closed flat at 8 marka on Tuesday. They did not trade by 1245 CET on Wednesday.
Bosnia's largest retailer Bingo controls an 82.6% stake in Pivara Tuzla, which it acquired from local company RK Invest in the spring of 2018. The remainder is in the hands of smaller shareholders.
Tuzla is located in the Federation - one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
