March 7 (SeeNews) - Bosnian state-owned road construction company Autoceste FBiH has shortlisted six bidders in a tender for the supervision of the construction of a subsection of European Corridor Vc in the country, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said.
The tender concerns the supervision of the construction works on a motorway section connecting Mostar South to tunnel Kvanj, the EBRD said in a notice last week.
Shortlisted bidders include France's Egis International, Italy's IRD Engineering Srl and Croatia's Institut IGH.
Three consortia were also shortlisted - one comprising Turkey's Altinok and CEG, another made up of Turkey's Yuksel Proje and Tec Cuatro and one comprising Bosnia's IPSA Institut and Germany's Krebs+Kiefer Eastern Europe Darmstadt.
Autoceste FBiH launched the tender for the supervision of the construction of the motorway section in October 2020.
The EBRD has provided 120 million marka ($75 million/61.4 million euro) for the construction of the 9.2 kilometre-long subsection, news portal eKapija.com reported earlier.
The Mostar South - tunnel Kvanj stretch is part of the Mostar South - Buna section of Corridor Vc which would link Hungary to Croatia's Adriatic coast via Bosnia.
Autoceste FBiH is the motorway operator of the Federation, one of the two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Serb Republic is the other one.
