BANJA LUKA (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 19 (SeeNews) – The industrial production of Bosnia's Serb Republic rose by 10.1% on the year in November but was 0.8% lower compared to September, official data showed on Wednesday.
In October, the Republic's industrial output index increased by an annual 3.0% and was 4.3% higher from September.
The industrial production for the first 11 months of 2007 rose by 1.4% on the year, the Republic's Statistics Office said in a statement posted on its website.
The sub-index for the output of the mining industry through November rose by 0.6% from a year earlier, and the processing industry index was 5.1% higher.
Electricity, gas and water production was down 7.7% from the same period of last year in the first 11 months of the year. The production of capital goods index in January to November decreased by 1.4%, and the output of semi-finished goods was down by 0.5%.
Production of durable and non-durable consumer goods in the first 11 months of 2007 rose by 77.7% and 6.4% on the year, respectively. Energy generation was 6.6% down.
