November 16 (SeeNews) - The industrial output of Bosnia's Muslim-Croat Federation in October fell by 15.4% year-on-year and was 3.5% higher on the month, official statistics indicated on Monday.
In the first nine months of 2009 the Federation's industrial output shrank by 11.6%, the statistics office said in a statement.
The Federation is one of the two autonomous parts forming Bosnia. The other part is the Serb Republic.
The output of durable consumer goods fell by an annual 26.1% in October. Non-durable consumer goods production was 4.4% lower and production of semi-finished goods was down 21%. Production of capital goods dropped by an annual 48.4%, while energy output decreased by 11.8% in October.
Mining industry output in the Federation decreased by a yearly 11.4% in October. The processing industry index declined by 17.2%, while the supply of electricity, gas and water slid by 13.9%, the statistics office said.

The industrial output of the Federation rose by 7.9% last year after increasing by 9.1% in 2007.
