June 1 (SeeNews) - German industrial group Bosch plans to invest 10 million euro ($11.2 million) and hire a further 1,300 workers in Serbia this year, Belgrade-based media reported on Wednesday.
In 2015, Bosch generated 94 million euro in revenue from its operations in Serbia, up 131% on the year, and it expects similar growth this year, news agency Beta reported quoting the company's Serbian-based director Jovanka Jovanovic.

Bosch's automotive windshield wiper systems production plant in the town of Pecinci, in Serbia's northern autonomous province of Vojvodina, was picked as the group's most successful last year. The 22,000-square metre plant was opened in 2013, an investment worth 35 million euro.
Bosch is represented by three entities in Serbia that make up the three regional offices of the Bosch Group. The company entered the Serbian market in 2006.
