August 26 (SeeNews) - Estonian online transportation platform Bolt said on Thursday it has expanded its ride-hailing service in Romania to include the city of Braila, in the east of the country.
Braila is the seventeenth city in the country in which Bolt has launched services, the company said in a press release.
"Our on-demand transport services are the first to mark our presence in Braila. We are thus continuing our strategy to develop on several levels, by expanding to new cities and adding new services," Bolt Romania country manager Cristian Salceanu said.
Formerly known as Taxify, Bolt has been present in Romania since 2016.
Bolt was founded in 2013 in Estonia and currently has over 2.5 million drivers in over 45 countries, and over 75 million registered users.
