September 27 (SeeNews) - Turnover on the Slovenian stock exchange rose on Wednesday, as the bulk was generated by a block deal in the shares of drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG], stock exchange data showed.
Krka generated a turnover of 1.6 million euro ($1.9 million), including a 1.44 million euro block deal for 25,903 shares.
Total trading turnover on the LJSE increased to 2.0 million euro on Wednesday from 1.2 million euro on Tuesday.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on LJSE, fell 0.19% to 798.30 points on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the index closed 0.35% lower.
Fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] was the top blue-chip decliner on Wednesday, closing 1.81% lower at 353.5 euro.
Insurance company KD Group [LJE:KDHR] rose the most among blue chips, as it closed 8.15% higher at 6.5 euro.
