BELGRADE (Serbia), July 4 (SeeNews) – Belgrade stock indices slipped amid tripled turnover on Monday, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) slipped 1.18% to 739.87 points after adding 0.1% on Friday.
The broader BELEXline dipped 0.83% to 1,374.25 after ending 0.12% lower in the previous trading session.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna backed off 0.42% to end at 279.94. The index fell 0.21% on the last working day before the weekend.
BELEX total turnover tripled to 92.2 million dinars ($1.33 million/919,320 euro) from 30 million dinars on Friday. Government securities generated 8.7 million dinars of the session's turnover.
Losers outnumbered winners 15 to 12 while 14 companies closed flat on Monday.
Blue-chip oil company NIS ticked down 0.14% to 718 dinars in 10.7 million dinars of turnover, the largest for the day.
Blue chip Poljoprivredna Banka Agrobanka [BEL:AGBN] rose 0.37% to 7,799 dinars in the second largest turnover of 4.0 million dinars.
Credy banka [BEL:CYBN] paced the gainers, soaring 15.71% to 2,777 dinars.
Blue-chip soybean producer Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] topped the loserboard, retreating 7.96% to end at 833 dinars.
