January 26 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Belgrade Stock Exchange fell on Thursday, with cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] pacing the blue-chip decliners, bourse data showed.
Metalac's shares went down 3.66% to close at 1,580 dinars on Thursday, Belgrade Stock Exchange data showed.
At the other end, industrial gases maker Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] gained the most - 0.96%, closing at 13,125 dinars on Thursday.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 1.31% at 840.76 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also closed down 1.48% at 1,742.27.
The bourse's total trading turnover went up to 5.7 million dinars ($52,900/48,600 euro) from 110.4 million dinars on Thursday.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 990,390 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Wednesday.
Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] generated the highest single turnover - of 1.6 million dinars. Its shares ended flat at 1,107 dinars.
