BELGRADE (Serbia), July 14 (SeeNews) – Belgrade stock indices rose in lower turnover on Thursday bourse data showed.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) added 0.29% to end at 728.49 points after ticking up 0.02% on Wednesday.
The broader BELEXline inched up 0.13% to 1,352.60 after advancing 0.06% in the previous trading session.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna rose 0.25% to end at 261.20. The index shed 0.56% a day earlier.
BELEX total turnover decreased to 22.8 million dinars ($312,473/219,959 euro) from 54.7 million dinars a day earlier. Trade in government securities accounted for 3.4 million dinars of the session’s turnover versus 5.0 million on Wednesday.
Nineteen stocks closed lower and as many ended flat while 10 rose on Thursday.
Blue-chip oil company Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS) rose 0.69% to 726 dinars in the day’s largest turnover of 4.1 million dinars.
Blue chip AIK Banka [BEL:AIKB] ended 0.36% lower at 3,032 dinars in a turnover of 3.2 million dinars, the session’s second biggest.
Brewer BIP [BEL:BIPB] led the advancers, closing 16.67% higher at 35 dinars.
Trading firm Progres [BEL:PRGS] posted the steepest drop, ending 12.33% lower at 64 dinars.
