BELGRADE (Serbia), July 12 (SeeNews) – Belgrade stock indices mostly fell in halved turnover on Tuesday, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) picked up 0.06% to end at 726.28 points after shedding 0.17% on Monday.
The broader BELEXline slid 0.29% to 1,350.14 after inching down 0.17% in the previous trading session.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna lost 1.33% to end at 263.27. The index ticked up 0.31% on the first working day after the weekend.
BELEX total turnover halved to 35.7 million dinars ($956,870/680,660 euro) from 68.6 million dinars a day earlier.
Decliners outnumbered gainers 20 to eight and 17 companies closed flat on Tuesday.
Blue-chip oil company Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS) rose 1.66% to 733 dinars in a turnover of 14.3 million dinars, the session's biggest.
Blue chip AIK Banka [BEL:AIKB] ended 0.13% lower at 2,998 dinars in the second largest turnover of 6.4 million dinars.
In single-price auction trading, insurer Takovo Osiguranje [BEL:TKOSM] plunged 6.54% to 5,000 dinars in the third largest turnover of 3.9 million dinars.
In regular trading, construction firm Napred [BEL:NPRD] was the biggest gainer of the day, soaring 17.86% to 3,300 dinars.
Privredna Banka [BEL:PRBN] was the session’s top decliner, tumbling 11.71% to 407 dinars.
