BELGRADE (Serbia), January 20 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as stock indices closed flattish, bourse data showed.
A total of 966 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 598,931 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session flat at 861.71 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also closed flat at 1,782.63.
No blue-chip index members saw their share price change on Thursday.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 3.15 million dinars ($30,400/26,800 euro) on Thursday, up from 735,024 dinars on Wednesday, as 47 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 2.4 million dinars.
