October 13 (SeeNews) - The Belgrade Stock Exchange closed down on Wednesday, with insurance company Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] pacing the blue-chip decliners, bourse data showed.
Dunav Osiguranje's shares closed 11.94% lower at 2,671 dinars on Wednesday. Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] was another major decliner, with its shares falling 1.34% to 1,835 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.56% at 789.67 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.46% at 1,671.68.
The Belgrade Stock Exchange's total turnover rose to 119.6 million dinars ($1.2 million/1.0 million euro) on Wednesday from 2.35 million dinars on Tuesday.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 1.5 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 100.1 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Wednesday.
