January 16 (SeeNews) - The Belgrade Stock Exchange indices closed down on Monday amid a lower turnover, bourse data showed.
The total turnover on the bourse went down to 7.8 million dinars ($71,900/66,500 euro) on Monday from 855.3 million dinars generated on Friday.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.21% at 841.16 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, went down 0.27% to 1,773.99.
Household appliances maker Alfa Plam [BEL:ALFA] paced the blue chip decliners, as its shares went down 4.52% to 23,000 dinars.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 28,500 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 4.4 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Monday.
