January 11 (SeeNews) - The Belgrade Stock Exchange closed Tuesday's session higher with oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] leading the blue-chip winners, bourse data showed.
NIS' shares rose 0.81% to a closing price of 625 dinars on Tuesday, generating a turnover of 102,565 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.18% at 827.10 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.14% at 1,737.55.
The total trading turnover on the bourse went up to 288.4 million dinars ($2.8 million/2.5 million euro) on Tuesday from 126 million dinars generated on Monday.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 6,000 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 287.9 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Tuesday.
